Lindsey Thomson

Veterinary nurse

Lindsey joined the practice in 2008, qualifying from the Barony College as a Registered Vet Nurse in January 2011.  She is a graduate from the University of Glasgow, where she studied zoology.  Lindsey loves working with all animals, especially cats.  She enjoys lots of outdoor activities, particularly cycling and rugby.

Gill came to the practice in 2006 as a student vet nurse and completed her Barony training in 2008.  She is now a Clinical Coach, training student VNs and an examiner for the SRUC (Barony campus).  Gill is involved in all aspects of small animal care and is happy to advise on puppy and kitten care, nutrition, weight management and post-operative care.

Jemma is an enthusiastic new member of our nursing team, qualifying as a Registered Vet Nurse from the Barony College in November 2013. Jemma has always had a love of animals, when not at work she is busy on the farm with her Valais Blacknose flock and family Eagle Centre.

Shannon is a student vet nurse training at Napier University after completeing her Animal Care Assistant course at Barony Collage. In Shannon's spare time she enjoys spending time with her pet goats (coco and Apricot) and horse "Miffie"

Hayley qualified from Barony SRUC in September 2021. In her sparetime she likes spending time with her ginea pigs and playing her guitar.

Tori qualified in 2020 from Edinburgh Napier University with a BSc First-class honours degree. Tori spent 2 years at Ark Vet Centre as a student where she gained most of her practical experience. She has a keen interest in anaesthesia and inpatient care. Outside of work she enjoys riding her horse and looking after her dogs and cats.

Catherine is originally from Edinburgh and is carrying out her third year placement at Ark. She has spent the last two years carrying out her studies at Harper adams university down in shropshire, and will return for her final year before graduating. In her spare time she enjoys going for walks in the country and visiting friends and family. Catherine doesn’t yet have any pets but has a few Labradors planned into her future!
